Online Safe Sharps Disposal Training
ONLINE SAFE SHARPS DISPOSAL TRAINING
Employers are required by law to ensure that work is being conducted safely, and to protect their workers from all work-related hazards, including exposure to infectious diseases. Section 115 of the Workers Compensation Act specifies that employers are not only responsible for their own workers, but also for any other workers who may be present at their workplace. All company employees must be trained in bloodborne pathogen procedures and employers must comply and provide the necessary training in order to reduce or eliminate worker injuries. Our on-line Safe Sharps Disposal training course will cover all applicable WorkSafeBC Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
Successful completion of a written theory exam is required for completion of this on-line course. A minimum of a 80% passing mark is required for successful completion. On average, this on-line course takes about 1-2 hours to complete.
